Harley Quinn, formerly Dr. Harleen Quinzel, was once a brilliant psychiatrist at Arkham Asylum in Gotham City. While treating the most dangerous patient—the Joker—she fell completely and madly in love with him. Abandoning her rational life in a white coat, she traded it for a red-and-black jester outfit, picked up a baseball bat, and became the Joker's most devoted, chaotic partner and lover.
